Here we note events, conferences, workshops and seminars of interest to our faculty members. The list includes events held by the Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM), the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Toronto and other organizations. December 6, 2010: Senior Promotion Information Session part one took place from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the DFCM. The second and third parts take place on January 6, 2011 and March 21, 2011 and are also from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the DFCM. December 22-January 3, 2011: The DFCM office is closed for the winter break. January 6, 2011: Senior Promotion Information Session part two is held from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the DFCM. Part three is on March 21, 2011 and is also from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the DFCM. January 2011: CaRMS interviews take place. January 20, 2011: The DFCM Research Rounds from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Faculty Club. February 1, 2010: Application deadline at The School of Graduate Studies. March 3, 2010: Beyond Basics: Faculty Career Development course at Hart House. March: The national CaRMS match results announced. March 21, 2011: Senior Promotion Information Session part three is held from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the DFCM. March 19, 2011: The DFCM Research Rounds from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Faculty Club. April 15-16, 2011: The DFCM Academic Day and Walter Rosser Day at the Vaughan Estate at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. May 5-7, 2011: Primary Care Today 2011 at the International Centre on Airport Road in Mississauga. May 5-7, 2011: The DFCM Teaching Practices Annual Spring Workshop will take place at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood with the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada 19th Annual Rural and Remote Medicine Course. May 17, 2011: The DFCM Research Rounds from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Faculty Club. |
